What we Believe

Brief Summary of our Beliefs:

Jesus: (Is the cornerstone in our solid foundation)

It's all about Jesus at Amadeo.  We believe Jesus is the Son of God, conceived and born by the virgin Mary.  We believe Jesus bore our sin on the cross as He died for the sin of all, that He rose after the third day, and is now is sitting at the right hand of the Father.  We believe it is through faith in Christ alone that brings salvation.  We belive we can have a personal relationship with Jesus through His Holy Spirit.

Trinity: 

We believe that that the Trinity is comprised of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.   Although they are three distinct persons of God, God is one.

Sin and Salvation:  (Solid foundatiolns can be rebuilt by God's Grace and Gift of Salvation.)

We believe that, through the Fall of Adam, our natures are sinful from birth.  We believe that in this nature of sin, we also sin against God by acts of ommision and acts of commision.  Through our nature and choices, we are opposing God until we are called by the Father and place our faith in Christ alone for our salvation.  Through Jesus's death on the cross, we are reconciled to the Father.

Holy Spirit:  

We believe that the Holy Spirit was given to us on earth as a gift upon Jesus's baptism.  We believe that the Holy Spirit ministers to us through healing, encouragement, conviction of sin, and dispensing of fruit and gifts to believers for their sanctification and the betterment of the Body of Christ.
